The main application for these rectangular magnets is to grip and transfer sheet metal in coils, blanks, packs of circles or reinforcing bars, etc. The specially designed poles make this magnet universal – the magnet has a high load capacity by capturing the coils by the butt end and by capturing the coils by the side. Possibility to select any of the following methods of the load gripping accelerates significantly the coil and packs (re-)loading process.
Our company can produce a lifting magnet according to the specific customer requirements: load weight and size, coil diameter or bundles, etc. When a heat-insulation shield is installed it's possible to handle hot (up to 500 ºC) loads. Installation of several magnets along a traverse makes it possible to move long-length rolled metal.
