The automatic grab is designed to handle a coil or two in a vertical position.
The automatic grab works on the principle of self-tightening from the weight of a lifted coil and the weight of the grab.
A coil capture is performed with a system of articulated arms.
A coil capture and release is performed with an automatic valve, which allows periodical capturing and releasing of coils every time the grab lowers on coils.
