Spring cable drums are used for reliable electrification of mobile equipment by automatically winding a flexible cable by means of the spring force. Drums are used for current supply to portal, gantry, dock, ship, bridge-type cranes, grabs, electromagnets, electric hoists, transport trolleys and other material handling equipment.
The spring drive consists of coil springs made of high quality spring steel. The springs are designed for a large number of working cycles, depending on the conditions and intensity of use.
Each spring cable drum is designed for a specific length and type of cable. Do not use the drum for other cable lengths / types without consulting the manufacturer.
