The PNS series magnet control units (voltage transducers) are designed to control any types of lifting magnets or groups of magnets totaling the maximum operational amperage at 125A (PNS-300) and 200A (PNS-600) at Tmc = 20 °C)*.
* Tmc - temperature of the magnet's coil.

The following are the basic advantages of the PNS series control units as compared to the currently in-use PMS-15 series and the like:

  • Stepless adjustment of the magnet's voltage
  • separation of trasferred loads
  • Power saving (recuperatiom mode) through elimination of ballast resistors from the crane's circuit and release of the power accumulated in the magnetic field back into thr supply line
  • High-speed electronic devices protect the magnet from breaking and short-circuiting the cable's strands among them or their ground-circuiting. Also we have achieved the reduction of overvoltage at degaussing by the power-line's own amplitude. All these facts account for the lengthening of the product's life-time.
  • Small size and mass allow to install the trancducer directly inside the crane cabin in a convenient for the operator location.
